Wise words: Dennis wants a meeting with refs' chief

Leeds manager Dennis Wise has requested a meeting with referees' chief Keith Hackett following his third misconduct charge in less than 12 months.

Wise is facing a touchline ban from the FA if found guilty of using foul and abusive language towards referee Danny McDermid during his side's recent draw at Gillingham.

Wise was sent to the stands before accusing McDermid of swearing at him and will appear before a disciplinary hearing next month.

Once the managers show respect for the Ref, and insist that all their players do the same. The game would be the better for it.
Making errors is only human, but to act like a yob on the touch line is just daft. All managers should remember that our youngsters look to them and their players for ideas.
Yob behaviour should be an automatic heavy fine and long suspensions, with no appeal.
