Shoaib: Fighting ban
Pakistani paceman Shoaib Akhtar says he was offered money to under-perform in games in South Africa and India but rejected them for the sake of his country.
Shoaib has been banned for five years by the Pakistan Cricket Board for disciplinary reasons but is planning an appeal.
He said: 'This sort of ban has not been enforced anywhere on any cricketer.
'Players who betrayed their country escaped without such punishment. Why am I being victimised?'

Shoaib, I feel you and I with you. I guess I had to leave that country for good and now its your turn. I think you should better yet leave it, and I hope you join India, just like that singer Adnan did. Hey, no one could do any better for that country, and don't think it was your fault.
