German No 1 Lehmann slams Wenger for 'difficult season'

Blast: Lehmann could not resist another dig at Arsenal boss Wenger.
Jens Lehmann could not resist celebrating his place in the Euro 2008 Final with one last dig at his old Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.
The 38-year-old will join Bundesliga club Stuttgart after the tournament following a miserable last season at the Emirates Stadium, in which he fell out with Wenger as he was reduced to third string goalkeeper at the club.
After Germany's 3-2 win over Turkey, Lehmann said: 'This achievement means a lot to me after a difficult season - but that difficult season was down to my manager.
'Arsene and I had some discussions about that and I have told him what I think about his decision but I'm quite proud to represent Arsenal in the final.'
Germany manager Joachim Loew has been criticised for sticking with Lehmann as his No1 after he started only 12 games for Arsenal last season, and it is possible after a mixed tournament that the final could be his last match for the national team.
'I don't believe I'll announce a decision immediately after the final,' he said, 'I don't have any time pressures.'

I think you'll find that Germany have reached the final of Euro 2008 in spite of you Lens rather than because of you. Your performance last night wasn't exactly inspiring!
Arsene knows!
