Roy Hodgson could turn his attention to Reading's £3million-rated striker Dave Kitson.

Fulham suffered a blow when Diomansy Kamara ruptured a cruciate ligament on international duty last month and has been ruled out until early next year.

The Cottagers have also been linked with Rangers striker Kris Boyd.

Fulham have signed Iranian defensive midfielder Andranik Teymourian and attacking midfielder Zoltan Gera and goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer and David Stockdale but are short of striking options.
