Kaka: not for sale

The newspaper said Galliani denied reports of a £120m bid by Abramovich.

He said: 'It’s not true we had an offer of £120m for Kaka from Chelsea nor any other club.

'What is true is I was on the boat of Abramovich. We met and I asked to sign Shevchenko and he asked to sign Kaka.

'We didn’t talk about numbers or amounts. We have a superb relationship with Chelsea on a personal level but that doesn’t mean they say yes for Sheva and we for Kaka.

'This offer does not exist. Even if it did Kaka seems happy in Milan.

'I said it 100 times and I will say it again — Kaka is not for sale.'
