Carlos Tevez says he understands why Cristiano Ronaldo would want to leave for Real Madrid.
United are refusing to consider selling the Portugal winger but, speaking to the Spanish media, Tevez said: 'This is a personal decision which is up to only him. If what he seeks is something else, I think that should be respected.

'I understand Cristiano Ronaldo. Every footballer wants to play at Real Madrid, while on the other hand I also think that everyone wants to play for Manchester United. I have not talked to him, but when these things happen, neither side feels good.'
