Royal Ascot, Wednesday, Jersey Stakes (2.30) 7f
1. Aqlaam 13-2
2. Il Waard 10-1
3. Dream Eater 7-1
If you can find anyone hotter at Royal Ascot than William Haggas, drop us a line.
If you had followed the Newmarket handler over the last fortnight you would have backed nine winners from just 28 bets, including Aqlaam, who landed the spoils for his many backers in the Jersey Stakes, the opening race on Wednesday.
Frankie Dettori's decision to partner Il Warrd over Godolphin's more-fancied runner Calming Influence almost paid off, but Richard Hills and Aqlaam, having only his third race start, prevailed by two lengths and hinted at much better things to come.

Bad start for the bookies: The well-backed Aqlaam pulls clear
You have to feel for Sheik Mohammed's team as they just couldn't win a rigged raffle at the moment.
They don't know themselves where their next big-race winner will come from.
Literato is out of the Prince of Wales's Stakes, today's feature, following hot on the heels of Creachadoir being pulled out of Tuesday's Queen Anne after breaking down.
When you're down on your luck, it seems not even a fat wallet can bail you out.
Haggas can't put a foot wrong. Aqlaam's win bodes well for the hopes of his filly Danehill Destiny in the Queen Mary later in the day.
Haggas said: "I'm thrilled to bits. We've always liked Aqlaam and he's just kept improving."
Hills added: "His last two pieces of work were exceptional and for the last six weeks he has just kept improving."
