Bale insists: We're creating chances now let's start taking them

Gareth Bale has told Tottenham's goal-shy attack they must start finding the back of the net.

Spurs have struggled to win games this season even though they have been playing reasonably well and it means the pressure is building on manager Martin Jol.

But Bale insisted all will be fine at White Hart Lane despite the 3-1 reverse at home to Arsenal when he told the official club website: "We got off to a good start, we got a free-kick outside the box and we managed to get a goal, so it was obviously the perfect start. "It wasn't to be after that.

"It is hard to see any game slip away, we had a lot of chances, but didn't take them and paid the price. We have got to learn from that.

"The fact that we didn't take our chances and they did was the difference, but we've got to turn negatives into positives and improve in our next game.

"We are creating the chances, which is a good sign for our team, but we've got to take them and that will produce the wins.

"Obviously everyone was very upset, it was a big game and a derby and we are disappointed not to get anything out of it.

"We are bonding well, there are a few new faces in there, plus me as well and our training is good. We just need that little bit of luck to get our season started."
