Milan Baros could be set to play up front for the Czech Republic in their clash with Portugal
Milan Baros could return to the Czech Republic starting line-up as coach Karel Brueckner plans to change his front line for tomorrow's game against Portugal.
The Czechs struggled to break down Switzerland in their opening group game where they used Jan Koller in a lone striking role as they scraped a 1-0 win.
Although Koller's place is not under threat, Brueckner wants to improve his attacking options.
"In all likelihood there will be some sort of change in attack," said the coach.
One option would be to bring in Euro 2004 top scorer Baros, who has been struggling for form but has a healthy record of 31 goals in 64 appearances for his country.
The Lyon striker, who ended the season on loan at Portsmouth, has been used in a supporting role on the left behind Koller in the past.
