Barry feels focused again

England coach Fabio Capello was worried that speculation linking the midfielder with a move to Liverpool was the reason for his poor performance in the friendly against the Czech Republic at Wembley last month.
Liverpool had failed to meet Villa's £18million asking price, but it left Barry in limbo as he had already stated his desire to link up with Steven Gerrard at Anfield.
But Barry believes he is ready to raise his game in the opening qualifier against Andorra on Saturday. "I'm mentally prepared now," he said.
"It was a tough summer for me and it was the first time I have experienced something like that. But it's important that my mind is now fully focused on Aston Villa and performing for England in the next game.
"I'm ready to go. We know what type of game it's going to be. Andorra were difficult to break down the last time we played them and they will get everyone behind the ball. But it's time for England to deliver."
