Bayern insist: We won't sell our star French midfielder Ribery at any price

Bayern Munich insisted today that they will not sell Franck Ribery for any price.

The German champions revealed they have already turned down bids for the France midfielder, who has been linked with Arsenal and Chelsea.

Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said: “We could have sold Ribery twice by now. We have had requests from the Premier League and Spain but I would rather sell our most precious silverware than him.

“We will not listen to any offer. I have a good relationship with most clubs throughout Europe and if they come to me, the answer will be no way. Not for any fee.”

The 25-year-old has been a revelation at Bayern since his £20million move from Marseille last summer, helping the team to a league and cup double.
