DaMarcus Beasley is set to miss the club's Champions League qualifier against either FBK Kaunas or Santa Coloma after suffering a hamstring injury in Sunday evening's friendly win against SC Preussen Munster.
The American winger will miss the final two games of the German tour and, with an estimated recovery time of two to three weeks, will be forced to sit out at least the first leg of the European tie on July 30.

Kyle Lafferty, Charlie Adam and Carlos Cuellar are all recovering from minor knocks, while captain Barry Ferguson yesterday underwent the operation on his split ankle ligaments that will keep him out until October.
'It's an unusual operation, in that footballers don't normally have this type of injury, but the specialist says it is not too difficult,' said boss Smith.
'The op is straightforward enough but there needs to be a period of recuperation, which looks like three to four months.'
Smith will dispatch No2 Ally McCoist and coach Ian Durrant to watch the first leg of the qualifying tie between Santa Coloma and Kaunas in Andorra tonight.
Meanwhile, former Ibrox star Peter Lovenkrands has lost his fitness race to face his old club when Rangers take on Schalke at the Veltins Arena on Saturday.
The Dane, who spent six years in Glasgow before heading for the Bundesliga, suffered an ankle knock in Schalke's pre-season opener last week and scans yesterday revealed the 28-year-old forward needs two weeks to recover.
He said: 'It will be really disappointing to miss out as I had just come back from an injury when I suffered the ankle knock.'
