The 31-year-old has spent most of his time recovering in the gym, but the former England captain has now been able to return to the club's Valdebebas training ground pitches.

It is not yet known when Beckham can return to first-team action, with the initial diagnosis after he sustained the injury suggesting he would be missing for around four weeks.

Madrid play Osasuna at the Bernabeu on Sunday as they look to close the five-point gap to Primera Liga leaders Barcelona.
