Bellamy is ready to join up with Wales
His daughter Lexi had feeding problems following the delivery at the University Hospital, Cardiff.
Bellamy remained at the bedside of his wife, Claire, and missed Saturday night's 2-0 defeat by Germany. The availability of the 28-year-old captain is a welcome fillip for coach John Toshack, who was unable to take a single positive from the defeat by Joachim Low's impressive Group D leaders at the Millennium Stadium.
Fulham midfielder Simon Davies said: 'He was a loss for us against Germany as he's a big factor in the way we want to play.
'It's great to have him back with us. He's a class player. He wouldn't be coming if he didn't think he could be mentally right so looking forward to meeting up with again.'
There was little else for Toshack to cheer, however, as Jason Koumas once again pulled out of a squad under a cloud.
Officially, a foot problem was the reason for the Wigan midfielder's failure to make the trip to Bratislava. However, Toshack confirmed after the defeat to Germany, when Koumas was substituted and stomped off down the tunnel, that he was not suffering any immediate injury.
He also missed the trip to Bulgaria last month in circumstances that the Wales coach was not keen to divulge last week and his future as a regular international may now be in question.
