Benitez holding back Liverpool's new strikeforce of Keane and Torres

manager Rafael Benitez is unlikely to unleash new £20million signing Robbie Keane and Fernando Torres in tandem in next Wednesday's Champions League qualifier against Standard Liege.
Torres was on target for Liverpool in the club's 4-1 win over Valerenga in a pre-season friendly last night but Keane is still waiting for his first goal since switching from Tottenham last month.
Xabi Alonso opened the scoring for Benitez's side before Bojan Zajic levelled for the Norweigans.

Torres stuck 60 seconds later and Yossi Benayoun and David Ngog completed the rout.
But Benitez said: 'It was another good work-out. It was a good game, with four goals for us and good play.
'But the players aren’t 100 per cent yet — that would be difficult right now.
'We have some players at the Olympic Games, so we used some young players and they showed quality.
'But maybe we will see the majority of the players we used in the first half.'
Midfielder Steven Gerrard hobbled off with a thigh strain and is a doubt for the third qualifying round first-leg tie against Leige and Premier League opener against Sunderland.
Benitez said: 'Gerrard has a thigh strain. We need to wait but it could be one week.'
