Berbatov insists: I'll only leave Tottenham when I'm not wanted

Dimitar Berbatov has revealed he is happy at Tottenham and has no intention of asking for a move away from White hart Lane.

The Bulgaria international has yet to find the scintillating form he enjoyed at the end of last season as Spurs struggle to climb away from the bottom of the Premier League table.

Happy if wanted: Berbatov has no intention of leaving Tottenham

And there have been suggestions it will not be long before he asks to move to another club in order to win the silverware which has largely eluded him so far in his career.

But Berbatov told the Sunday Mirror: "I don't care for speculation. People talk about me because of what I did last season and that's normal. Am I happy here? What do you think? Loyalty is important to me and there is a debt to be repaid. Spurs wanted me no matter what - where were these other clubs then?

"If I leave it's because I'm no longer wanted. I won't ask for a move. I'm very settled here."
