Berger exits Villa and goes back home to Slavia Prague

Former Czech Republic midfielder Patrik Berger has returned to his homeland
after agreeing to leave Aston Villa for Sparta Prague. The 34-year-old has signed a two-year deal with Sparta 13 years after leaving city rivals Slavia Prague.

Berger moved to Borussia Dortmund in 1995 before a goal in the final of Euro 96
against winners Germany helped secure a move to Liverpool. He has also played
for Portsmouth and Stoke.
