Big brother link-up appeals to Hunt as Dundee United striker eyes Reading

Dundee United striker Noel Hunt admits he would be keen to join brother Stephen at Reading if the clubs can settle on a fee.

Hunt, 25, has been with United for two years but claims Reading have already made their first move for him, and he would relish a move to team up with his 26-year-old sibling.

Hunt was a CIS Insurance Cup finalist with United last season and has attracted plenty of attention from English clubs.

Reading, relegated from the Barclays Premier League, could be his destination.

"I knew this had been on the cards and I heard the club knocked back a bid," Hunt told the Scottish Sun.

"It's an honour to be linked with such a big club and obviously it's something I'd be interested in.

"Stephen has spoken a lot about how huge they are."
