Birmingham City's Sweden winger Sebastian Larsson says he wants to join a Premier League side - but the club are refusing to sell him and have offered a new five-year contract.

Birmingham feel Larsson owes the club 12 months’ loyalty and will not back down, but
the former Arsenal midfielder said: ‘I want to play at the highest level. I hope it
will be resolved.

‘There are three weeks left of the transfer window. Somewhere there has to be some respect between the club and the player.

‘Of course, it would be better if I played in the Premier League.’
