Bolton striker Helguson set to join Norwich on season-lomg loan

Bolton striker Heidar Helguson is set to join Norwich on a season long loan

Bolton will allow Heidar Helguson to join Norwich City on a season-long loan after signing Poland striker Ebi Smolarek from Racing Santander.

Ipswich and Charlton were considering bids for the 31-year-old Iceland international, too, but Norwich boss Glenn Roeder moved quickly for the former Watford and Fulham striker.

Bolton have also allowed Switzerland midfielder Blerim Dzemaili to join Torino.

The 22-year-old signed last summer but never started a match.
