Bolton will smash their transfer record today with an £11m move for Swedish striker Johan Elmander.
Manager Gary Megson has battled hard to complete a deal for 6ft 2ins Elmander after finally being given the green light to talk to him by his club Toulouse.
Bolton are throwing Norwegian misfit Daniel Braaten into the deal in return.
Here I come: Sweden's Johan Elmander is on his way to the Reebok.
Megson held talks with the 27-year-old last weekend and chairman Phil Gartside flew out to France to complete the deal.
The Swede, who has scored 22 goals in 62 games for Toulouse and grabbed nine goals in 34 internationals for his country, arrived in Manchester last night and had his medical at Bolton this morning.
Elmander has been hunted by Wanderers boss Megson ever since Nicolas Anelka's departure to Chelsea in January.
Bolton also maintain interest in Lyon's Milan Baros and Manchester United's Louis Saha.
