Bolton's tickets going for a song in a bid to bring back the fans

Bolton have slashed prices in their new 'singing section' by 14 per cent in a bid to attract more fans to the Reebok Stadium.
The Trotters averaged crowds of just under 21,000 as they endured a turbulent Premier League campaign which saw them eventually avoid the drop under Gary Megson, better only than Portsmouth, who are restricted by capacity, and local rivals Wigan.
Bolton look to fill more seats at the Reebok Stadium by slashing ticket prices
However, with gates for cup ties and European matches also failing to capture the public's imagination, Bolton have come up with new initiatives in a bid to gain more support.
And one is a 'singing section' that it is hoped will generate more atmosphere at the Reebok Stadium.
"The club anticipates a huge demand for this area and is advising supporters to purchase their tickets as early as possible," said a spokesman.
At a time when other clubs are increasing their ticket prices, Bolton feel they are now one of most fan-friendly in the top flight.
Adults in the 'singing section' will pay only £299 next season, while some children's prices are as low as £49 after a 64 per cent cut in prices.
"All other prices have been frozen, which means that for the third year in succession prices have been reduced in real terms," said Bolton head of communications Helen Wood.
