Boro boss tells Ramos and Benitez: We won't listen to Downing offers

Middlesbrough manager Gareth Southgate has warned Liverpool and Spurs that England winger Stewart Downing is not for sale.
Southgate admitted he has had an inquiry for midfielder Lee Cattermole, but said interest in Downing has so far not led to a bid from Boro's Premier League rivals.
And if he does receive any offers before the end of August, the Boro boss will turn them down.
Southgate said: 'Stewart Downing is not for sale, simple as that. We get calls from lots of clubs about players but we haven't had any about Stewart so it surprises me there's all the speculation.
Not listening to offers: Stewart Downing won't be leaving Middlesbrough
'If people are interested in buying him, it would be nice of they made contact and we could tell them to their face he is not for sale.
'That's part of the summer merry-go-round and I tell the players as long as they concentrate on fact - because I'm very honest with them - then there's no problem.
'There may be coming and goings but it will only be deals that are right for the club and which we think are the right value.'
Wigan manager Steve Bruce is believed to have made the first approach for 20-year-old Cattermole, who has made more than 70 appearances for his home-town club.
Southgate added: 'We have had interest in Lee, along with a couple of other young players. There has been a lot of loan interest and it is a tentative offer, but that is as far as it has gone at the moment.'
Tonight the Middlesbrough manager will take a full strength squad to York City for the first pre-season friendly of the summer.
New signings Marvin Emnes and Didier Digard are included in the large squad which kicks off at Bootham Crescent at 7.30pm.
