Boss Benitez reassures Torres: I'm staying with you at Liverpool

Rafa Benitez has been forced to reassure Fernando Torres that he will stay as manager of Liverpool.
Speculation lingers that Benitez's position is under scrutiny should the balance of power shift again at Anfield this summer from American owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett.
Staying put: Fernando Torres and Rafael Benitez
And Torres' representative, Margarita Garay, realising the £20million club-record signing is a target for Chelsea, has sought clarification from the manager.
Yesterday's figures from the first accounts issued by Kop Holdings heightened concerns over the financial burden the Americans have placed on the club but Benitez was keen to allay Torres' fears that he will depart and trigger an exodus of players.
Benitez said: 'The supporters have been absolutely magnificent with me, the staff are working very hard and I would not have brought in players like Fernando and the young players we have here if I did not have a long-term vision for the club. Now is not the time to be saying goodbye. Fernando's agent has asked about my Liverpool future and my answer is that I am 100 per cent committed.
'If we had a lot of money to spend it would obviously be better. But if we don't, it doesn't matter. It is not about buying the most expensive players, it is about buying the right players and we can sell some players to get the others we need.'
