Brazilian ready to fight for place at Goodison

Everton midfielder Anderson De Silva has told Barnsley he will not return for another loan spell at Oakwell because he wants to force his way into David Moyes' plans.

Barnsley boss Simon Davey said: 'He won't be coming back because he wants to fight for his place at Goodison Park.'

The Brazilian played nine games at Oakwell.

The £700,000 signing has yet to start a match for Everton but did come on as a late substitute for the Toffees against Charlton in April in his only appearance so far.
