Butcher warns Birmingham striker McFadden against moving to Celtic

Scotland assistant boss Terry Butcher has urged James McFadden to stay at Birmingham and forget all about a possible move to Celtic.
McFadden's agent has claimed the striker wants to leave Birmingham following their relegation from the Barclays Premier League, and there has been interest from Parkhead.
The Scotland star moved to St Andrew's from Everton in January and scored four goals in 12 appearances but could not save Alex McLeish's team from the drop to the Coca-Cola Championship.

Decision time: McFadden could be set to leave St Andrew's
Butcher believes McFadden should wait until making a move to one of the Old Firm clubs.
'Give it time and that move will maybe happen for him one day,' Butcher told the Scottish Sun.
'I suspect it probably will. I just don't think that time is right now.'
Butcher helped to nurture McFadden's talent during his spell as Motherwell manager, and believes the 25-year-old, who has three years remaining on his Birmingham contract, would see his popularity dip if he returned to Glasgow.
'I just think the way he goes about his business as a Birmingham City player helps unite all the Scotland fans,' Butcher said.
'If you play for one of the Old Firm there will always be people, no matter what you do, who won't like you.'
