Byrne has only one reason not to smile

But the 31-year-old Londoner will be reluctant to smile because his front teeth are missing after crashing heavily at Croft last month.
Byrne said today: "I'm okay to race. My shoulders are still sore, I've damaged some ligaments and if I roll over in bed it's really sore.
"But riding a bike will be no problem. I've had physiotherapy and I'll be as good as gold. My only problem is the teeth that were knocked out.
"I've got a dentist appointment next Tuesday and I'm not looking forward to that.
"At Croft, a dentist put in some replacements but when I went out for qualifying they fell out and were rolling around inside my mouth inside my crash helmet.
"I pulled into the pit lane and told my mechanic to hold his hand out under my crash lid and these teeth dropped out. It gave a nasty surprise."
Byrne has been brilliant on his Airwaves GSE Ducati this season and championship is set to become a passport back to the World Superbike series.
He's already been this way before, breaking into MotoGP in 2003 on the back of his first British superbike triumph.
But the move backfired and Byrne is determined not to make the same mistakes this time.
He said: "There's no reason why I can't go into world superbikes and have a very strong season."
