Calzaghe tells Hopkins to get in line

Joe Calzaghe has turned the tables on Bernard Hopkins by snubbing the American boxing superstar and telling him to get in line.

Hopkins called out Calzaghe at the weekend after a Las Vegas points victory over Ronald Winky Wright.

But Welshman Calzaghe considers his world super-middleweight showdown with Mikkel Kessler at the Millennium Stadium on November 3 a much bigger event.

Hopkins, who has come out of retirement at 42, said: "I want Calzaghe next — tell him to come over and I'll knock him out."

Calzaghe retorted: "Hopkins can get in line and wait for me. I was all set to fight him two years ago and he doubled his financial demands after first agreeing to the fight."
