Celtic make £2m move for Crosas and Tamas set to accept Bhoys wage offer

Celtic target Marc Crosas was last night awaiting the green light to fly to Glasgow.
The Barcelona midfielder is expected to sign for the Parkhead club early this week after the bones of a £2million permanent deal were thrashed out.
And Gordon Strachan, who watched his side enjoy a fine 3-1 win over Feyenoord, could take the spending to £5m by finally tying up a deal with Auxerre's Romanian defender Gabriel Tamas.
Target: Marc Crosas, who is set for a move to Parkhead, kicks the ball around Marco Fabian of Guadalajara
Spotted in Barcelona's recent games with Dundee United and Hibs, 20-year-old Crosas was with the squad due to face Chivas in the early hours of this morning in Chicago.
Last night, however, agent Angel Castell conceded a deal is close, saying: 'I know the two clubs are still in communication about a deal. We are waiting to conclude everything.
'Celtic are very keen on signing Crosas, but there is also interest from clubs in Spain and Italy.
'I think it would be a permanent transfer, as Marc does not want to go on loan again. Celtic are a good possibility because they always challenge for trophies and they also play in the Champions League. We hope to resolve his future soon.'
Crosas spent the second half of last season on loan at Lyon.
Celtic have, however, played down reports of an interest in a second Barca midfielder, Jeffren Suarez.
The long-running saga surrounding Tamas could also come to a head, following reports in Romania last night that the defender is poised to accept a £16,000-a-week offer.
