The Israeli has been trying to improve Chelsea's style of play since taking over from Mourinho and claims the counter-attacking approach he used at the club is becoming increasingly ineffective.

Grant told Chelsea TV: "Three years ago, one-third of the goals in the world were from counter-attacking and last year the figure was 20 per cent and it will go down further.
"In the midfield, we pass the ball more than we did before. This is another time and we need to do it."
Grant will be upset by comments attributed to West Ham manager Alan Curbishley, suggesting little has changed at Chelsea under his regime.
The barbs will add spice to the meeting of the sides tomorrow lunchtime at Stamford Bridge. Even though the goals have flowed more freely since Grant took over, he has told his counterpart he is transforming the club for the long term. Grant said: "We need the style of football that will lead Chelsea for many years."
• The full interview with Avram Grant can be seen on Chelsea TV tonight which is FREE for tonight only on Channel 421 between 5-8pm to all Sky Digital subscribers.
