Chelsea get their man as Anelka seals his move from Bolton

After a week of difficult negotiations, the clubs signed off on a package which should allow him to make his debut against Tottenham tomorrow.
Chelsea were trying to tie-up the details this afternoon and had until 5pm to register him with the Premier League.
It is thought the Frenchman has agreed a four-and-a-half year contract worth £100,000-a-week after setting his sights again on Champions League football.

Blues brother: Anelka has finally completed his move to Chelsea
Chelsea are Anelka's eighth club and although the 28-year-old has scored consistently throughout a career which has taken in Real Madrid, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City, he has also earned a reputation for having a surly attitude.
His move is a major boost for manager Avram Grant, who wanted the deal done quickly to improve his side's prospects as he tries to get the most from a squad depleted by injuries and absence.
A joint statement today said: "Bolton and Chelsea can confirm that terms have been agreed between the clubs for the transfer of Anelka."
The striker's arrival ends a week in which both clubs initially refused to back down.
Chelsea held firm until today and would not initially increase their original offer of £11m, which was rejected on Monday.
But with strikers Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou on international duty, Andriy Shevchenko injured and Anelka on a long contract at Bolton, they had to back down.
The deal is not thought to involve a straight cash payment, having a small portion of the fee based on success, and it could pave the way for departures from Chelsea in the summer.
