Chelsea on alert as Spain striker Villa admits he'll go if Valencia decide to cash in

The Spain striker's future has been a source of speculation following a tumultuous season that saw Valencia drop from Champions League and Spanish league contention to avoiding relegation on the penultimate weekend.
Real Madrid and Chelsea are the leading clubs reportedly interested in Villa.
"If the club decided the best thing to do is to recoup money by selling me, I'll accept that," Villa said. "I'm happy there but will abide by whatever they decide for next season."

Spanish media have said that Valencia might make major changes for next season with Dani Guiza of Mallorca, the league's leading scorer, high on its priority list.
Ronald Koeman, who replaced the fired Quique Sanchez Flores, was also fired despite leading the club to the Copa del Rey title.
The 26-year-old Villa, who scored a hat-trick on Sunday to take his season total for the 12th-place club to 16, is looking forward to the European Championship, which starts next month.
"It's been a while since Spain did something, so it's time to," Villa said. "The last year has been good, we've attained victories against important rivals. We're going into the Euro in good shape."
Villa scored a superb volley for Spain to beat World Cup champion Italy 1-0 in March and take his tally with the national team to 12 in 29 games. He is expected to partner Liverpool striker Fernando Torres when the team opens at Euro 2008 against Russia in Group D on June 10.
"We'll go to have a good championship and to hopefully make it far," Villa said.
Spain won the 1964 European Championship on home soil, its only major trophy.
