Chimbonda set to leave Spurs and join Valencia in £8m move

Tottenham defender Pascal Chimbonda will move to Valencia in the next few days in an £8million deal after agreeing personal terms with the Spanish club last week.
Chimbonda will begin pre-season training with the La Liga outfit on Thursday, according to The Daily Mirror.
Valencia are understood to have first made contact with Chimbonda during the January transfer window.
Off: Pascal Chimbonda has failed to make an impact under Ramos at Tottenham.
However a swap deal for Valencia's Miguel failed to materialise as Spurs boss Juande Ramos was not keen on the right-back.
The former Wigan player, 29, has failed to break into Ramos' first team since his arrival at White Hart Lane last season and had been linked with Newcastle and Aston Villa.
Ramos also brought in £8m right-back Alan Hutton from Rangers.
Chimbonda missed a penalty as Spurs lost a UEFA Cup shoot-out to PSV Eindhoven.
Valencia have qualified for the UEFA Cup alongside Spurs meaning Chimbonda could end up playing against his former club next season.
