City's Dickov could be next to follow Becks across the Atlantic

Manchester City striker Paul Dickov may be about to join the David Beckham-inspired Major League Soccer revolution in the United States.
Dickov is out of contract at City and while his preference would be to remain at Eastlands, he realises that is unlikely despite his past association with new manager Mark Hughes.
The 35-year-old is considering other options, one of which is retirement to start a career in coaching.
In the running for MLS: Manchester City's Paul Dickov chases down Blackburn's Andre Ooijer.
But there has also been interest from across the Atlantic, with Toronto, coached by fellow Scot Mo Johnston, and New York Red Bulls, who number former City team-mate Claudio Reyna and fitness coach Juan Carlos Osorio among the
familiar faces.
"One thing I don't want to do as a player, at whatever level, is overstay my welcome," he told the Manchester Evening News.
"I will be the first one to admit when I cannot do it anymore.
"I still feel I have something to offer as a player but I want to go into coaching eventually and I will need to do the badges because that is important."
Dickov would be the first to admit his two-year stint at City has not been the success he hoped, especially after earning folk-hero status during his initial stay at the club.
But a run of seven goals from seven starts during a loan spell with Blackpool has whetted his appetite for more and, in Hughes, Dickov is confident City have the right man to look forward with confidence as well.
"I know Mark Hughes well," said Dickov.
"I know how he trains and how his staff will want the players to train.
"He is the best I have played under and City will not lack for fitness and commitment that is for sure."
