Clubs refuse to relent in Sky TV row

Chelsea and Everton plan to protest about Sky TV moving their fixture forward 48 hours at this month's meeting of Premier League chairmen.

Both clubs are furious the League allowed Sky to switch the Goodison Park clash to Thursday 17 April.

Chelsea fear their title hopes will be hit as they now face two games in the space of three days, while Everton are upset over the impact on their fans trying to attend.

The meeting will take place on the same day as the rescheduled game but officials from both clubs will still voice their anger.

The Premier League maintain they had little choice but to agree to the demands of Sky, who felt they were owed the opportunity to show some Chelsea games after they lost some earlier this season because fixtures were moved.
