Coleman set to be replaced as Sociedad coach

Chris Coleman is expected to be replaced as coach of Real Sociedad by Javier Irureta after the club's presidential elections on January 4.

Former Deportivo La Coruna boss Irureta has been targeted by presidential hopeful Inaki Badiola, who said: "Our intention is to meet Coleman when he returns from holiday on December 29 or 30 and, when we talk about new signings, he will make a decision on whether to stay.

"If he decides not to stay then Javier Irureta will be our coach."
