Meanwhile Millwall have completed the signing of defender Marcus Bignot from QPR on an 18-month contract.

The 33-year-old full-back negotiated his release from Loftus Road after 193 appearances over two spells and returned to the New Den, where he has spent the last two months on loan.

"I'm delighted to be back," he told the Lions' official website.

"After my loan spell I was hoping to I could become a Millwall player because I thoroughly enjoyed my time here so I'm grateful to Kenny Jackett and QPR for enabling it to happen."
