Rangers value the 24-year-old at around £5million and turned down a bid from Spurs in January.

Manager Lawrie Sanchez will make an initial £1.5million bid for the 24-year-old, who is thought to be ready to put in a transfer request if Rangers block the move.

Striker Kevin Gallen, 31, released by QPR after 12 years there, is to be offered a trial at Watford.
