Tillakaratne Dilshan misses Third Test

The batsman, who broke his thumb during his mammoth innings of 193 in the Second Test at Lord's last week, tested out the injury during training at the Rose Bowl today.
Dilshan took part in the early stages of the warm-up but was unable to bat and team manager Anura Tennakoon revealed that the opener would play no part at Southampton this week.
Former captain Kumar Sangakkara will lead the team but Tennakoon admitted the batsman had needed to think hard before accepting the role.
"He was not mentally prepared to take the job and he had to give it some thought before he did decide to do it," said Tennakoon.
"Dilshan has been in very good form so it will be a loss to us from a batting point of view but from a leadership point of view, Kumar will fill in very well, because he has a lot of experience and has done the job very well."
