Crocked QPR star Vine is praying for good news from his latest X-ray

Road to recovery: Rowan Vine

Rowan Vine will discover today if he can return to action from his cruciate knee ligament injury this year.

The Queens Park Rangers striker, hurt in a freak training ground incident in April, is having an X-ray today and hopes to be told he is finally on the road to recovery.

Vine said: 'I haven’t had an X-ray for a month, so I’m just hoping the doctor has some good news for me.

'Depending on what he says will determine if I’m on track for an early return to action.'
