Crouch the big target for Spurs as Harry rules out Keane

The Spurs manager is looking to strengthen up front in the New Year and has been linked with a move for Keane, who left White Hart Lane for Liverpool in a deal worth £20.3million in the summer.
But it is understood that Redknapp still has his sights set on his former club Portsmouth and the talent of Crouch, who scored his seventh goal of the season in the draw against West Brom yesterday.
Crouch began his career at White Hart Lane but was sold to Queens Park Rangers in July 2000 without having played for the first team.
Portsmouth owner Alexandre Gaydamak has put the club up for sale and, while he insists no key players will leave Fratton Park, Redknapp hopes a bid of around £10m will be accepted.
Keane, who scored 107 goals in six years at Tottenham, has had a miserable time since going to Anfield. He has netted just four times this season and was left out of the team against Blackburn on Saturday.
The Irish international angered the Spurs hierarchy when he handed in a transfer request after becoming aware of Liverpool's interest and they are not planning on coming to his rescue.
Redknapp wants to sign another striker even though Darren Bent and Roman Pavlyuchenko have 19 goals between them. He wants more competition for places up front, especially as his only other option is on-loan 21-year-old Fraizer Campbell.
Les Ferdinand has been trying to improve Bent, Pavlyuchenko and Campbell since arriving at White Hart Lane last month.
The former Spurs star now plans to use his spell at Tottenham's strikers coach to decide whether to follow a career in management.
The 41-year-old played for West Ham as well as Spurs, and is a pundit for Setanta's live coverage of tonight's derby at Upton Park.
He said: "I have spoken for a long time about it (management). I have dabbled with coaching and started doing the badges, without getting into it seriously. At Spurs, I will see whether I am cut out for it.
"I am doing my UEFA coaching B licence at the moment. When my playing career ended in 2006, I felt a needed a breather, but chances like this do not come around very often."
