Derby boss Jewell plans double swoop for Watford duo Ellington and Stewart

Paul Jewell is weighing up a move for Watford's Nathan Ellington and Jordan Stewart as he looks to take Derby back to the Premier League at the first attempt.

Ellington has failed to make an impact since his £3.25m move from West Brom last August with just four goals while Stewart, who has also been linked with Charlton, could leave on a free as his current deal expires after the play-offs.

Jewell is also interested in Nottingham Forest's Kris Commons and Everton's Lee Carsley.

Eyeing pastures new: Nathan Ellington
