Dida makes apology for Parkhead playacting

AC Milan keeper Dida made a public apology for his Champions League cheating at Parkhead before the 1-0 home to defeat by Empoli.

The Brazilian walked around the San Siro pitch and bowed to every section of the crowd.

UEFA have reduced the suspension for Dida to one match, according to AC Milan's official website. The Brazilian was initially handed a two-match suspension after his theatrics.

Meanwhile Freddy Adu scored a late leveller for Benfica as they warmed up for their European clash with Celtic by drawing 1-1 with Vitoria Setubal in the Portuguese League Cup.
