Dixon fears for Arsenal in title race

Former Arsenal star Lee Dixon believes Arsene Wenger's side lack killer instinct and will be out of the title race if they lose to any more minnows like Hull.

Dixon was part of George Graham's ruthless Gunners team of the early 1990s famed for their ability to close out 1-0 victories.

The 2-1 home defeat against Phil Brown's side on Saturday followed the surprise loss to Fulham last month and leaves Arsenal fourth in the Premier League.

Dixon said: "George used to say if you've got someone on the floor then don't forget to finish him off.

"Arsene Wenger will be a little concerned about the two defeats against two of the less strong outfits.

"They have been guilty of not killing teams off in the past and it's all down to mental attitude."
