Dobriskey 'gutted' after narrowly missing out on medal in 1,500m

Britain's Lisa Dobriskey admitted she was "gutted" after a tactical blunder cost her an Olympic medal in the women's 1,500 metres final in Beijing.
Dobriskey, the 2006 Commonwealth champion, produced a storming finish but had left herself just too much to do as Kenya's Nancy Langat took gold in four minutes 00.23 seconds.

Iryna Lishchynska of Ukraine claimed the silver ahead of her team-mate Nataliya Tobias with Dobriskey just 0.32secs behind in another new personal best of 4:02.10.
After a slow start, Bahrain's Maryam Jamal had kicked for home with 500m remaining, but was passed by Langat down the back straight.
Dobriskey had been seventh at the bell but powered down the home straight as Jamal tied up, but the 24-year-old from Kent had left it a fraction too late.
"I'm gutted, I really thought I could do it today and I just missed out," Dobriskey said.
"I just misjudged my finish a little bit so it's disheartening. I was desperate to get a medal. I wanted it and feel like I've missed a really good opportunity there.
"I just missed it by a split second, I think it's such a fine line. In the past I've gone a little bit too hard too early and finished further down so it's hard.
"There was some more there, that's the frustrating thing, there was more to give and I messed up tactically."
Asked about her new personal best, she added: "I would rather have gone 20 seconds slower and have a medal."
Britain's 4x400m relay team were also unable to get among the medals as Sanya Richards made partial amends for missing out on individual gold by anchoring the United States quartet to victory ahead of Russia and Jamaica.
Olympic champion Christine Ohuruogu had given Britain a good start but heptathlete Kelly Sotherton and 800m specialist Marilyn Okoro on the next two legs could only hand over the baton to Nicola Sanders in sixth place.
Sanders brought the side home in fifth in 3:22.68, more than four seconds adrift of the winners, for whom 200m silver medallist Allyson Felix ran a storming second leg.
