Dominic Elsworth finds it slow going in bid to return

Top jump jockey Dominic Elsworth still has no idea when he will return to race riding after being sidelined since a fall at Ffos Las last August.

Elsworth has been riding out for Oliver Sherwood but while his rehabilitation is continuing, it is proving a slow process for the 29-year-old.

"I am trying to keep a low profile but I definitely will be back - I just don't know when," Elsworth said.

"I've got post-concussion syndrome and I still have trouble when I'm going round roundabouts. The doctors tell me it is just going to take time. I can't put a date on anything."

Christophe Lemaire, who broke his leg in a fall yesterday, is expected to be out of action for eight weeks.

Tom Queally will deputise aboard the Criquette Head-Maarek-trained filly Special Duty, who won the English and French 1,000 Guineas, in tomorrow's Group One Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket.

In a significant market move, the US-trained Kinsale King has been slashed to 7-1 from 10-1 by William Hill for Friday's Darley July Cup at the course.
