Dons boss Jimmy assures Celtic his side will be gunning for Rangers

Five years ago, the then Hoops striker accused Calderwood's Dunfermline team of lying down to Rangers after a last- day drama that saw the title snatched away from Martin O'Neill's team.
Celtic won 4-0 at Kilmarnock but Mikel Arteta' s last- minute penalty at Ibrox gave their bitter rivals a 6-1 victory over the Pars and the 2003 championship by a one-goal margin.
Fighting his corner: Aberdeen manager Jimmy Calderwood
Calderwood was furious at Sutton' slur and vehemently denied it at the time, but now he has been confronted with a similar scenario with the 2008 title on the line.
Rangers have to win by four goals more than Celtic if goal difference is to be the deciding factor again, but the Aberdeen manager reckons that is the only outcome you can rule out.
The Dons boss said: "Football is a funny game and these things can occur but I would be very, very surprised if that happened and I would be very, very annoyed as well.
"Historically, Pittodrie is a difficult place for Rangers to come to, so to think they would come here and win by five or six goals is a very tall order.
"Personally, I don't think Walter Smith is thinking that way as he is just looking to make sure they win the game, then hope that something happens in his favour at Tannadice.
"He is a shrewd man who knows Pittodrie is not an easy place to come to and, when you look at recent results, then Celtic and Aberdeen are the form teams in Scotland just now.
"We have only lost four games at home all season, which is a decent record. It would be great for our supporters if we finished on a high and it doesn't get much higher for our fans than beating Rangers."
