Dreaming of playing in front of 40,000 fans at Anfield? No, I'd rather face Bognor, says Cup hero

FA Cup hero Tom Jordan is ready to turn his back on a once in a lifetime opportunity to face Liverpool ... to play in front of a few hundred fans in Bognor.

The Havant & Waterlooville defender, who came on as a substitute and scored the fourth goal in the 4-2 victory over League One leaders Swansea, is on the verge of joining south-coast rivals Eastleigh.

And Jordan is willing to sacrifice the Hawks' dream trip to Liverpool in the FA Cup fourth round on January 26 for the chance to join Eastleigh, who take on Bognor Regis Town in the Blue Square South on the same day.

"I don't know if I'll still be around, I'll have to wait and see," he told the Portsmouth News.

"I've made my thoughts clear that I haven't been playing recently and want to move on to Eastleigh.

Dream trip: But Tom Jordan is willing to sacrifice chance to play at Anfield

"I think it would be hypocritical of me to say I wanted to stay now because we've done so well.

'My future might be away from here. Maybe I'll not be at the club by then, but the lads certainly deserve their trip to Anfield."
