Elena Baltacha beaming as she qualifies in Indian Wells

Elena Baltacha admitted she felt "fantastic" after qualifying for the main draw of the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells.

The British No1 beat Russian Ekaterina Bychkova 6-2, 6-4 and will play American Alexa Glatch today, while compatriot Anne Keothavong faces Russian Anna Chakvetadze.

Baltacha said: "It's the third WTA event I've qualified for this year, so I'm really pleased."
