Emirates now feeling like home - Wenger

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has blamed the switch from Highbury to the Emirates Stadium for his side's stuttering start to the season.

But he fully expects his young Gunners to roar back into contention for all the major honours now that they have finally settled into their new surroundings.

Feels like home: Arsenal's players are now used to playing at the Emirates

"I personally put our bad start to the season down to the new stadium," Wenger revealed. "We dropped some points that any team will drop when they move to a new stadium.

"It is linked with the unfamiliarity, as well as the fact that a team that comes to the stadium has no bad memories.

"At the start of the season it was a bit like a neutral ground, now we know we are playing at home.

"We feel much more that sense of comfort and strength at home."

And he warned Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool that they will face an even better Arsenal team next season when he added: "We can now come back stronger next season and fight for the championship."
